About

Why work with us

In commodity trading the difference shows up in how risk is managed — long before price.

01

Verified supplier network

Every refinery, mill and exporter we work with is checked against production capacity, official sales channel and shipment history. We work from the source, not through a chain of intermediaries.

02

Market-based pricing

Offers are built as a differential to ICE London No.5, ICE No.11, MATIF and CBOT references. We filter out 'opportunity' offers below the market floor — because the arithmetic does not hold.

03

Quality and inspection discipline

Pre-shipment sampling, an independent surveyor's report (SGS / Intertek / Bureau Veritas) and the right to a second analysis on arrival — written into the contract together with the penalty clause.

04

Documentation and compliance

Certificate of origin, health and phytosanitary certificates, halal/kosher, ECTN/BSC, import permits. A single document obtained in the wrong order keeps the container sitting at the port.

05

Logistics and corridor risk

On the Suez / Bab el-Mandeb, Black Sea and West Africa corridors we confirm freight, war risk premium and demurrage as separate line items — so surprises are settled at contract stage.

06

Payment structuring

Letters of credit (DLC/SBLC), CAD, partial TT and performance bonds — a workable structure balanced between the buyer's bank and the seller's exposure.

Origins & Network

Where we source

Every commodity has a right origin. Asking for it from the wrong one is the most expensive mistake in trading.

Türkiye

Pulses, hazelnuts, dried fruit, flour and pasta, beet sugar, sunflower oil, processed food

Strong where it is a producer, and also a hub where raw material of Canadian and Russian origin is processed and re-exported. Türkiye does not grow cane — 'Turkish origin cane sugar' is a contradiction in terms.

Russia & Ukraine (Black Sea)

Wheat, barley, corn, sunflower oil, rapeseed, meal

The centre of world wheat and sunflower oil trade. Load port flexibility, war risk premium and insurance conditions are inseparable parts of the contract. Export duties and quota regimes change periodically; every offer is verified against current regulation.

Brazil & Latin America

VHP raw sugar, green coffee, soy, corn, cocoa

Brazil mainly exports VHP raw sugar; some large mills do not even operate a refining line. For bagged ICUMSA 45, Guatemala and Colombia are structurally the better origins. In coffee, Brazil and Colombia are the primary sources.

Africa

Sesame, cocoa, coffee, cashew, pulses — and a major buying market

Both a source and a destination. West Africa is strong in cocoa and cashew, East Africa in sesame and coffee. On the buying side, foreign-currency allocation regimes (e.g. franco valuta arrangements), import permits and pre-shipment documents such as ECTN/BSC are critical.

Gulf & Middle East

Refined sugar (Dubai, Oman), re-export and free zone stocks

For small and mid-sized container enquiries the realistic source is usually free zone stock: refineries do not run a single-container trial order. Routings out of Oman can also reduce Bab el-Mandeb exposure.

South & Southeast Asia

Sugar, rice, spices, cashew, Robusta coffee

Thailand and India are major players, but India applies periodic export bans. Offers of 'ready Indian-origin stock' appearing during a ban period should be eliminated on sight.

Services

How we work

Six steps from enquiry to arrival.

01

Enquiry and specification

Product, quality standard, quantity, packaging, discharge port and target shipment window are fixed. No price is discussed before the specification is written down.

02

Origin and supplier selection

Suitable origins are compared and screened for export bans, harvest calendars and corridor risk. The shortlist is built only from verified producers.

03

Offer and contract

Price on a market differential, Incoterms 2020 delivery terms, and clauses for inspection, tolerance and arbitration — drafted into a full sales contract.

04

Payment structure

The letter of credit text is checked line by line; bank compliance conditions and document presentation periods are aligned with the shipment schedule.

05

Production, inspection and loading

Pre-shipment sampling and independent survey; container sealing, stuffing report and photographic record.

06

Shipment and arrival

Document set, vessel tracking, second analysis at the discharge port and customs clearance. The file closes with a completion report.
