Product Groups
Four core groups, in container (FCL) and bulk volumes, on a spot or recurring programme basis.
Sugar
ICUMSA 45 refined white cane sugar and VHP raw sugar
The most common mistake in sugar trading starts with terminology. Grades circulating in the market such as 'M45' or 'EN45' do not exist; the international standard is the ICUMSA colour number. A seller who does not correct this is not a producer. Pricing is a differential to the ICE London No.5 (white) and ICE No.11 (raw) contracts; offers clearly below that floor are not economically possible.
- ICUMSA 45 — Refined white cane sugar
- VHP / VVHP raw sugar
- Beet crystal sugar
Grains & Oilseeds
Wheat, corn, barley, sunflower oil, rapeseed
The Black Sea basin is the centre of world wheat and sunflower oil trade. In this corridor contract structure matters as much as price: load port flexibility, war risk premium, vessel waiting time and the GAFTA arbitration clause must be written in from the start. Quality parameters (protein, test weight, falling number, impurities) shift with the crop year, so we work on current analysis every season.
- Milling wheat
- Feed corn & barley
- Crude & refined sunflower oil
- Rapeseed & soybean meal
Pulses, Nuts & Dry Food
Chickpeas, lentils, beans, hazelnuts, dried fruit, flour and pasta
In pulses and dry food Türkiye is both a producer and a processor: raw material of Canadian and Australian origin is processed in Mersin and Gaziantep and re-exported. Here the real issue is calibration and sorting quality — if the size and colour range the destination market is used to is missed, the goods will not find their price. For nuts and dried fruit, aflatoxin and sulphur limits are secured by pre-export analysis.
- Lentils (red / green)
- Chickpeas & dry beans
- Hazelnut kernels (raw / roasted)
- Dried apricots, figs & raisins
- Wheat flour & pasta
Coffee, Cocoa & Tropical
Green coffee, cocoa beans, sesame, cashew and spices
Supply of tropical commodities is tightly bound to the harvest calendar and the export regime of the origin country: some require an export licence, a minimum price control or purchase through a cooperative. The EU deforestation regulation (EUDR) also makes supply-chain traceability mandatory for cocoa, coffee and palm — we prepare those files before shipment.
- Green coffee beans (Arabica / Robusta)
- Cocoa beans & products
- Sesame & cashew
- Spices & botanicals
The technical values below are industry reference standards. The binding specification of each shipment is defined in the contract.
